Members of the English Club on why they come to the American Corner


- I think it is very important to learn English language, as it provides you great opportunities in the future: to make a successful carrier, travel, communicate with people from different countries.

- Courses conducted by Peace Corps volunteers are very diverse, exciting, interesting, therefore, the time during lessons passes very quickly!

- I believe that knowledge of English language is crucial for a modern person. It means the opportunity to participate in various study programs, getting to know American culture, and a chance to communicate with native speakers, i.e. Peace Corps volunteers.

- Lately, the role of the English language has increased tremendously. I think it is not by chance. With the expansion of borders of international communication, we have a possibility to travel abroad for a business trip or have an internship in some college or university in the USA.

- English language is very popular right now. This is a language of information technology, science, business, sports, and politics. English is spoken all over the world. Knowing English, one can read newspapers, magazines, and pieces of great American writers in original language, watch TV satellite programs. If you travel, you can go anywhere without being afraid to be misunderstood. It is also important to know English in order to find a good job.
