I consider the American Corner in our city to be one of the positive and cool places for young people who are really interested in English language and the American lifestyle. Here everybody has a great chance to develop English skills. Everybody can find here something interesting, discover something new and meet friends. A great variety of interesting books of original American edition, comprehensive and up-to-date dictionaries, political and entertainment magazines and journals, audio and video materials allow a reader to find the needed information. The AC is attended by different ages of people. Here are the most interesting projects, programs, which are formed with the help of competent coordinator and the Peace Corps volunteers. Direct interaction with the native speakers is the best practice for everyone. These kinds of interactions and exchanging information about cultures and lifestyles develop relationships between people of Kazakhstan and the USA.
